An eleven acre piece of land, near the present Hospital Selayang has been identified for the building of an academic clinical block and the students' residence. The idea to be outside the box and not to feel the norm of entering the medical building was quite a challenge. The ambiance has to be taking into a consideration of medical specification and limited source to let out the creativity was not an easy task. Each space needs to be with a different function and theme. The fresh modern eclectic concept was presented to the faculty and being accepted. Vibrant colors, offset material, space flows and limited budget were married together, harmonized and complement each other.
